FAQ’s
Below is a list of our most frequently asked questions, which should
help you out:
Which is the best to go for, wired or wireless?
Generally wired camera are simpler i.e. plug straight into your
recording device, however we recommend people go for wireless. They
are extremely reliable and offer so many advantages over wired systems
because they can be positioned anywhere.
What’s the quality like at 380TVL?
The quality is very good i.e. VHS quality. People tend to hunt for
cameras with very high TV lines. This is often misleading as most
recording devices restrict the quality of recording i.e. generally
380TVL. The other issue is the fact that cameras with higher TV
lines are usually bigger.
How long do the batteries last?
Our wireless cameras batteries generally last around 2 hours. This
does vary depending on batteries used and conditions there used
in.
What do you get with the package and what
else do I need?
You get everything with the packages, except the batteries and recording
device. Our cameras use standard batteries making them affordable
to run. You will need a recording device or a viewing device. The
cameras will plug straight into a TV for real time viewing or into
a video recorder for recording. We recommend that people get a
multi-media
recording device or use a camcorder with AV input.
Is my video camera okay to use for recording?
Your video camera must have AV input to allow it to be used. Most
good camcorders do have AV input, however it’s worth checking
your instructions first. You can use D.V. in, however you will need
to purchase an analogue to digital converter.
Are the cameras robust?
All our cameras are truly waterproofed and extremely robust. We
crashed model planes whilst carrying out filming and the cameras
were fine. They are by far the most durable cameras available on
the market today, which is required for true extreme sports.
Do they work in the dark?
The cameras produce excellent, clear images in dusk conditions.
You will still get a picture at night time if e.g. street lighting
is around.
How do I pay?
You can order on-line using any major credit card or PayPal, just
navigate to the product details page and "Add to Basket".
Is there a warranty with the cameras?
We offer a 12 month warranty on the cameras. Due to the nature of
the sports we have designed the cameras for, some individuals have
been know to drop them from silly heights (BASE jumpers).
